Booking.com Prepaid Hotel Stay Charged Twice - Need Refund

My name is Sara T***. I booked a room through Booking.com at Motel 6 located at 1720 S Priest Dr, Tempe, AZ, with a check‑in date of April 1st for a total of four nights. According to my reservation, my room was supposed to be ready at 3:00 p.m. On the day of check‑in, I went to the motel earlier to ask if I could get into the room before 3:00 p.m. The staff member at the front desk said that was okay, but then told me I had to pay for the room, even though I had already paid in advance through Booking.com. As a result, I ended up being charged twice for the same stay. I am requesting that the extra charge I paid at the Motel 6 front desk be refunded, as the room was already paid for via Booking.com. I kindly ask for this double payment issue to be reviewed and for the overcharge to be returned to me as soon as possible.
