Booking Hotel Canceled My Reservation to Resell at Higher Price
I made a reservation months ago through Booking.com at Zel Home 7 Double Bed hotel. Yesterday, just before my scheduled check-in, I was informed that the hotel had canceled my confirmed booking and attempted to offer me the same room at a much higher rate. My original reservation was at a lower price, and payment was to be made at the property, so no charges had been processed yet.
This practice is unfair and misleading. I tried reaching Booking.com customer service immediately, but was unable to get through to a representative and received no support. As a long-time user, this is the first time I’ve experienced such treatment, and it left me stranded without proper accommodation.
I insist on being allowed to stay at the property at the original confirmed price of my reservation. I request urgent intervention from Booking.com to resolve this issue and to ensure that hotels cannot cancel confirmed bookings simply to resell them at higher rates.
My situation must be resolved quickly, and I expect Booking.com to uphold the reliability and trust that customers place in the platform.
