Booking.com Paris Apartment Was Dirty and Unfit for My Family




I made a reservation through Booking.com for the property named “Serenty-1BR-Eiffel Tower & Les Invalides” in Paris for the dates 20.05.2026–30.05.2026. However, when I arrived at the apartment, the beds and bed linens were dirty and there was hair everywhere in the apartment. In this condition, the room was not suitable for my children either, and due to these hygiene conditions, I decided to leave without staying. I reported the situation and requested that the apartment be cleaned or that my payment be refunded, but I was informed that no cleaning would be done and that no refund would be made. The host even disrespectfully stated to us that the hair and dirt should be cleaned by us. I rented this apartment trusting Booking.com and made the payment directly to Booking.com, and I find it unacceptable that an apartment listed on your platform is handed over to guests in such a condition and that no solution is offered despite my complaint. I kindly request a full refund of the amount I paid for this stay, as I could not use the accommodation due to the unclean and unhygienic condition of the apartment, which was also not suitable for my children.
