Booking.com Charged Me for a Reservation I Didn't Make and Won’t Refund the Full Amount

On March 10, 2025, I made a one-night hotel reservation in Arnavutköy, Istanbul via Booking.com, scheduled for June 12. The price was just €37 and was set as pay-at-the-hotel. I only entered my credit card details because it was required to complete the booking. But then, on April 4, Booking.com charged my card twice without my consent—once for 280 GBP and once for 360 GBP.
After several phone calls, they refunded the 280 GBP, but since my card is with a Turkish bank, I lost about ₺1300 to exchange rate differences. The second charge of 360 GBP still hasn’t been returned, and they keep saying it’s “under investigation” with no progress. I was never told who used my card or why these charges occurred.
