Booking.com Charged After Canceled Booking at Dias Hotel Despite Confirmation

On 10/09/24, I canceled my reservation at Dias Hotel in Dedeağaç, Greece, through the Booking platform due to my visa not being approved. Despite receiving an official cancellation confirmation, the charge was still made to my credit card. I contacted Booking multiple times via email, but they rejected my request for a refund. I even attached the cancellation confirmation email from Booking as proof. Yet, I’ve received no resolution and can’t reach anyone at Booking for assistance. I’m highly dissatisfied with the lack of support from such a well-known company. I expect this issue to be addressed and my money refunded immediately.
