On August 30, 2025, I purchased a pair of jeans (code: smc 10001446) from the Bershka Ankamall store. Despite being worn only 2–3 times, the jeans tore without any snagging or user error. Under normal use, a product should not suffer damage this quickly. The jeans were never washed and are almost in new condition, yet this problem still occurred.
About 15 days later, I traveled from Bolu to Ankara to return the product. I requested an inspection to determine whether it was defective, but the store manager dismissed my request, claiming it “might have been snagged.” Without conducting any proper inspection, they refused my return request. The manager simply folded the jeans, put them back in a bag, and told me “go ahead and complain” in an unhelpful and rude manner.
I also contacted Bershka online customer service, but I was told that the process must be handled through the store.
I paid ₺1,690 by bank card for this product, which is still with me. There is no warranty or additional protection plan. I request that the jeans be properly inspected for a manufacturing defect and that a refund or exchange be processed accordingly.
