Avis False Corporate Image and Unfair Charges
My experience with Avis turned out to be regrettable. Thinking they were a "corporate" company, I went to Avis for the first time and they directed me to rental places in obscure streets. I made a 4-day rental through their website, requesting a corporate invoice, and was told that I could extend it anytime. On the 4th day, when I asked for a 2-day extension, they demanded nearly 50% more than the daily rate over the phone. Frustrated, I decided to visit their office and expressed my disappointment. The gentleman there assured me that I would be charged the regular price and extended the rental. I returned the vehicle in perfect condition and filled the tank to the brim at a gas station near Antalya Airport entrance. However, they arbitrarily deducted 128₺ from my deposit and completely ignored my request for a corporate invoice. Where is the corporate aspect of this company?
