Unpleasant Experience with Avis Reservation and Rental Services
I made a reservation on the Avis website on September 27, with reservation number 3928-8471-TR-5, and completed the transaction by charging 3747.99 TL to my card. However, when I arrived to pick up my Avis rental car at Podgorica airport in Montenegro on October 5, I was informed that the vehicle I had reserved was not available, and I received no assistance whatsoever. I then went to another office in the Cue Plaza, where unauthorized personnel informed me that they were unable to assist and provided an email address for me to contact. This situation, which I had entered into with trust in the Avis brand and its professionalism, completely disrupted my entire day, and I had to make an additional payment to rent a car from Hertz. Despite sending an email, I have received no response, and there is no record of my transaction. Avis, a company I had been loyal to for many years, turned out to be a huge disappointment. I intend to share this negative experience with all my colleagues and friends and provide them with guidance to make a more informed choice in the future.
