Avis Cleaning Fee Issue

I recently rented a car for three days from the Avis branch at Elazığ Airport. During the vehicle return process, they pointed out that the car was quite dirty and that a cleaning fee would be applied. By 'dirty,' they meant there was a bit of dust and dirt – a somewhat laughable expectation considering the dusty environment of Elazığ. It's absurd to assume a pristine car return in such a place. Even more baffling, they didn't mention this vulnerability to dirt when we picked up the car. It's clear that this company is fixated on minor charges, even though they wash cars after every customer, including the dusty ones. Had they informed me, I would've gladly cleaned it myself. Instead, they happily slashed 500 tl from my pocket. This experience left me utterly unsatisfied, and I certainly won't be using their services again.
