Aramex Won’t Clear My Package Through Customs

I am experiencing an issue with the delivery of my shipment sent through Aramex with tracking number 34783597306. Today, the tracking status showed the message “Additional information required from the customer for customs clearance.” I immediately checked my email, but I had not received any notification from Aramex. I spent about half an hour trying to reach customer service, and when I finally reached a representative, they transferred me to the customs department after taking my tracking number. There, I was told that although the value of my package does not exceed €30 and the items are gifts, the package was held due to having multiple items, and I would need to contact a customs broker.

Aramex should handle customs procedures for small and low-value items, yet I was told that I must appoint a customs broker and incur extra costs for a package worth less than €30. It was surprising to hear, at the delivery stage, that “we cannot handle customs for this,” especially since I was never informed of this beforehand. Additionally, I believe the Aramex Turkey staff and customs department were unhelpful and not solution-oriented.

I request that all customs procedures be completed by Aramex as they should be and that my issue be resolved promptly.
