Suspicious Messages After Purchasing iPhone from Apple Store
On November 22, 2024, I purchased a phone from the Apple Store. Shortly after, I received a message from the number 0850 540 0042 stating:
"Apple Store: Great news! Qaw1244259 order products have shipped and will be delivered on 04/12/2024. More info: https://www.apple.com/s/ab0s9z8c7t.b040."
Assuming it was related to the shipment, I clicked the link but stopped further action due to suspicion. Later, I received confirmation codes from the same number while logging into my Apple account, as well as similar messages under the name “Apple.”
Initially, I didn’t question the credibility because of the seamless timing. However, after reading complaints on various platforms, I now suspect fraud. This complaint is to document my concern as evidence in case of future issues. I request Apple to investigate this and take appropriate action immediately to prevent potential fraud.
