Unexplained Amazon Order Cancellation

I ordered a Smeg kettle from Amazon Germany through Amazon.com a month ago and paid 7629 TL. I waited for a really long time to get the shipping details. I got a message today saying that the package is on its way, 15 days after. I was totally expecting my Amazon order to arrive today, but they suddenly canceled the sale and gave me a refund on my card. They didn't even explain why. The item costs 10,000 TL right now. I want to be compensated for the loss I suffered because Amazon.com canceled my order for no reason.
