I used Amazon Prime as a member for about three years. However, in October, I was forced to cancel my membership due to ongoing dissatisfaction. The main reasons for this dissatisfaction were delayed deliveries and the unhelpful, solution-free approach of the customer service team. Despite these negative experiences, I trusted Amazon’s promises of “fast delivery” and “next-day delivery” and re-subscribed to Prime just yesterday. Unfortunately, within a very short time, I encountered the same problems once again.
Orders that were supposed to be delivered in Balıkesir were not even shipped, despite Prime’s core promise of fast delivery, and the promised delivery time became completely meaningless. Today, in order to express my frustration and find a solution, I contacted customer service 11 times. Each time, however, no concrete solution was offered. On the contrary, I was met with a dismissive and at times almost mocking tone. The fact that my repeated complaints and clear discomfort were neither recorded nor taken seriously deeply disappointed me.
As a result of this process, I was forced to cancel both the related order and my Amazon Prime membership. This entire experience has caused me serious disappointment and regret. I can understand occasional service disruptions to a certain extent; however, the real issue is the lack of accountability for these disruptions, the failure of customer service to provide solutions, and the complete disregard for the customer’s inconvenience. If Prime deliveries are going to be delayed, customers are going to be inconvenienced, and complaints are not going to be taken seriously, I genuinely question why users should become Prime members at all. Because of this negative experience, I no longer plan to subscribe to Amazon Prime or place orders through Amazon. I am sharing this complaint so that others who approach this service with similar expectations do not experience the same disappointment.
