Amazon Incomplete Order and Rude Customer Representative
About a week ago, I ordered 5 cans of tomato paste and 6 tablet chocolates from Amazon. They combined the two separate orders into one box. When the package arrived, the chocolates were missing. I contacted Amazon customer service, and they told me I had to wait 72 hours. They said the missing items from the single shipment with one tracking number might arrive later, or they would investigate in the warehouse. After 72 hours, I had to call again to get a refund. I placed the same order again for the kids, and when it arrived, I distributed the chocolates—only to realize afterward that there were just 5. I contacted customer service again, and they asked for photos of the products. I told them I had already handed them out to the kids and couldn’t take any pictures. The representative insisted I send photos. I sarcastically said I could go to the store and photograph 5 chocolates if they wanted, and that the whole thing was ridiculous. They said the conversation was being recorded and that I couldn’t do that. The point is, Amazon keeps sending missing items. To put it politely, I think there’s a “chocolate issue” in their warehouse. I told them I don’t care about one missing chocolate, but I won’t be ordering from them again. The customer service rep was quite rude, telling me things like “do whatever you want.” I wanted to share this experience here and seek support.
