Amazon Arbitrarily Canceled My Purchase
On July 9, 2023, I paid 454.99 TL for three packs of Familia 40'li Natural Toilet Paper from amazon.com.tr. I contacted them again as the specified delivery date approached, and they assured me that the products would be delivered. However, prices for paper products increased during that delivery period, and I had a feeling they might cancel my order, but I trusted Amazon, hoping they would prevent such unfairness on their platform. I learned that the product was out of stock during another conversation with customer service, and I had already suspected that delivery would be impossible. Nonetheless, I trusted Amazon's reputation. However, on July 26, 2023, I discovered that my order had been canceled and a refund had been issued without any notice or apology. Now, I have some questions for Amazon, and if they are truthful, I would like them to respond to them under my complaint: 1) Isn't the cancellation without notice in violation of Amazon's policy of 100% customer satisfaction? 2) Is it morally acceptable for your representatives to keep us waiting for nearly 20 days while claiming to protect our rights every time we contact them? 3) Is it normal for your policy to keep us waiting for nearly 20 days, withholding payment for a product that was in stock, and failing to resolve our complaints? 4) Should I accept that you kept me waiting and then made me suffer even more by raising the price of the same product by more than 200 TL during the delay? Couldn't you have canceled the order and let me buy the products from a different online store sooner? Did you not feel ashamed when you lied to me over and over about the products being provided and delivered? 5) You are well aware that the products were canceled on purpose due to price increases, but it is not in your best interests to admit it. 6) This was my first purchase.
