Lack of Transparency by Allianz in Individual Retirement Accounts
When I went to open an account with Yapi Kredi Bank recently, there was no detailed information about individual retirement plans provided. They just kept insisting on enrolling me. I was told that I could leave at any time and receive a refund. I attempted to exit using the mobile app, but it kept returning a 404 error. I was also unable to freeze the second month's fee, which was deducted in the evening. When I try to exit, it currently displays a refund of 0 TL. It was disappointing to be in such a situation with Yapi Kredi. I demand that the appropriate authorities investigate this matter and refund the deducted amount without conditions.
I reached out to Yapı Kredi again, and the bank personnel mentioned that there's no issue and that I can get the deducted fee back, but they stated that if there's a government contribution, I might not receive that. I contacted Allianz once more, but they insisted that the full amount would be deposited into my account, as they told me initially. However, they also mentioned that for regular customers, the fee will be refunded after five years. This discrepancy is causing confusion and has left me feeling misled. The misinformation provided by the bank personnel, who gave me details akin to a BES process, has put me in this unfortunate situation. I kindly request a swift resolution to this matter and an immediate refund to be credited to my account.
