I Was Charged Again by Akbank After a Refund on My Credit Card Limit
I have a question for Akbank officials: Suppose I fully utilize my credit card with a limit of ₺11,000. After the statement is issued but before the due date, I pay ₺6,000 of the balance. Then, before the due date, ₺5,000 of the ₺11,000 spending gets canceled and refunded back to the card. In this case, what should my actual credit card debt be? According to basic logic, the refunded amount should be deducted from the total balance. However, the system seems to ignore this adjustment and still reflects the full debt. Dear Akbank, by not deducting the refunded amount, you are asking me to pay it again. Please don't behave like Denizbank.
