Akbank Charged Me for a Loan I Didn’t Use Until a Month After Application
I applied for a loan at Akbank on November 10, 2024. After applying, they kept saying something was missing and asking me to complete various steps. My process was delayed until December 10, 2024. Meanwhile, my loan was not approved, and I didn’t use it. After completing all the necessary steps, I finally used the loan on December 10, 2024 — one month after applying. Today, I noticed that ₺4,150 was deducted from my account, putting my balance into the negative and blocking my account. They claim I have to pay for the gap between the application date and when I actually used the loan. Why should I pay for a loan I didn’t use? If that’s the case, should every applicant pay even if they never proceed? Imagine someone applying, leaving for two years, and being told later they owe money from the application date — it’s absurd. Please refund the deducted amount or reset my account balance. This makes no sense. How am I at fault for a loan approved a month later? I’ve never seen anything like this.
No results came out in any way and I paid extra money because of the banker's mistake, I do not forgive my rights. I will also file my complaint with the necessary places.
