My Airbnb Reservation Canceled, No Refund, Host Unresponsive

During a long trip, we planned to stay in Sakarya and made a reservation through Airbnb. However, we changed our minds and canceled the reservation on September 15, 2024. I explained the situation to the host but haven’t received any response regarding my refund. I’ve tried contacting Airbnb customer support, but I couldn't reach anyone who could assist me. The communication barrier with foreign representatives is frustrating, and the host remains unresponsive as well. It seems the refund is entirely up to the host, but withholding the full amount (minus taxes) feels like a scam. I don’t understand how this is allowed. Airbnb needs to step in and ensure I receive my refund.
