On June 28, I booked a home through Airbnb in the Mavi Durak area of Sakarya and paid ₺2,037.59 the same day. However, shortly after making the reservation, I was informed that the property was already occupied and my booking had to be canceled. Airbnb assured me that the full amount would be refunded within 14 days.
It has now been over 25 days, and I still haven’t received any refund. I followed up with Airbnb customer service multiple times, but unfortunately, I was met with vague answers and no resolution. I paid on time, did nothing wrong, and yet I’m left waiting indefinitely for a refund that should have already been processed.
This delay has not only caused unnecessary financial stress but also made me question Airbnb’s reliability as a platform. If a booking is canceled due to their system’s error, the refund process should be immediate and transparent.
I request that Airbnb process my refund without further delay and ensure it is paid in full to my account right away.
