I booked a stay through Airbnb on March 19, 2024, using confirmation code hmafyxpkhd, and the total cost was shown as ₺5775. But when I checked my bank account the next day, I saw that ₺6430 had been withdrawn—₺655 more than the agreed price.
Since then, I’ve been trying to get help from Airbnb’s customer service, but all I get are empty promises like, “We’re working on it.” No actual solution, and worst of all—there’s no Turkish-speaking support, which makes everything harder. I reached out to my bank, they said the charge was processed. The hotel says they didn’t receive any money. Airbnb just keeps pushing me in circles.
I’m tired of this runaround. Airbnb needs to explain why I was overcharged and refund the extra ₺655 immediately. I paid in good faith and expect proper, transparent service—not confusion and silence.
