My Airbnb Host Took ₺12,796 And Disappeared After Fake Listing In İzmir Dikili Çandarlı

From August 20–23, 2025, I booked a house in İzmir Dikili Çandarlı through Airbnb (reservation code: HMF4JD8TZR) and paid ₺12,796 with my credit card. After completing the payment, the host completely cut off communication. They refused to share the location of the property and stopped answering my calls and messages. When I attempted to cancel the reservation, Airbnb showed a warning that my payment would not be refunded.
To make matters worse, I reverse-searched the photos from the Airbnb listing using Google Lens and discovered that the pictures actually belonged to a completely different house located in Kuşadası. In other words, the listing I paid for was fraudulent. My check-in is supposed to be tomorrow, yet there is no real house to stay in and no host I can reach.
I contacted Airbnb customer service, but instead of proper support, I only received generic automated responses. Even though I have proof that the photos were stolen from another property, no action has been taken to resolve my issue.
This situation is unacceptable. I demand a full refund of the ₺12,796 I paid for a fake and misleading listing. Airbnb must investigate this fraudulent host and ensure other customers are not tricked in the same way. Paying customers should never be left without a place to stay due to fake listings and absent support.
