Airbnb Marked Refund As Sent But Money Never Arrived
On 17 August, I canceled my Airbnb reservation with the code HMH3X8HQ8B. According to Airbnb’s policy, my refund of ₺4,677.65 should have been processed within 15 business days. However, despite this time passing, the money has still not been credited to my account.
When I contacted Airbnb customer service, they insisted that the refund had already been issued and advised me to check with my bank. After contacting my bank, I was informed that no such refund transaction exists. The refund was supposed to be sent to my card ending in 5207 and my account ending in 7351, but nothing has arrived.
I have never experienced such an issue before with Airbnb, which makes this situation even more disappointing. I demand the immediate processing of my ₺4,677.65 refund and clear proof of the transaction details. Customers should not be left in limbo between Airbnb and their banks without proper resolution.
