Airbnb Refund Not Received Despite Confirmation and Free Cancellation Policy
I booked a reservation through Airbnb on November 27, but I canceled it due to unforeseen circumstances. The cancellation policy offered a full refund, and the refund process was initiated on the same day. I was informed it would take up to 15 business days to complete.
However, today is December 19, and I still have not received my refund. According to the timeline, the refund should have been deposited by December 18 at the latest. When I contacted my bank, they confirmed no refund was processed. Conversely, Airbnb insists the refund was issued and advised me to follow up with my bank.
The irony is that Airbnb has provided a receipt claiming the money has been refunded, but my account shows no such deposit. I demand that this issue be resolved immediately and my refund processed without further delays. My reservation confirmation code is hmddxrdkqh.
