Airbnb Refund Deadlock After Major Service Failures In 'Jacuzzi' Room!

Through Airbnb, I booked a room with a jacuzzi on the terrace for November 11, 2025, specifically at my daughter’s request (confirmation code: HMYT3XARJR). I had clearly informed the host, Mr. E***, that the jacuzzi was the main reason for the rental. However, from the moment we checked in, the problems we encountered turned the day into a struggle for service and made it impossible to stay. Major Issues: Immediately upon entering the room, I discovered that the jacuzzi drain was clogged and that only extremely hot water came from the taps, making it impossible to fill the jacuzzi. Hygiene Problems: The bidet spray in the toilet was not working, and the entire place smelled strongly of onion and tomato sauce. Effort to Fix, Not Use: We spent nearly two hours in the room trying to contact the host, watching the technician attempt to unclog the drain, and waiting for the problems to be solved. When they weren’t, we decided it was impossible to stay under such conditions and left. Unfair Refund Rejection: Despite these clear and provable service defects, my refund request to Airbnb was denied based on the host’s false claim that we had “used the room and the jacuzzi.” Airbnb Support ignored the service failures, left the decision entirely to the host, and closed the case without offering assistance. Request: I demand an immediate refund of the 3,865₺ I paid for a service that was not delivered and was full of defects. It is unacceptable for Airbnb to disregard an evidently defective service and side with a false statement that leaves the customer victimized. I also state that I will take this matter to the Consumer Arbitration Board and pursue legal action if necessary.
