Adidas Refused to Replace My Childs Shoes That Caused Injury

July 4, 2025 10:55 PM24

About 8–9 months ago, I bought a pair of sports shoes for my child from an Adidas store. After a short period of use, we noticed that the sole of the shoe was causing discomfort and injury to my child's heel. We took the product back to the Viaport store where we purchased it and requested an exchange. The store informed us that they would send the shoes for inspection and notify us of the result. About a month later, they called and told us that the issue was due to user error and that an exchange was not possible. I did not accept this and went back to the Viaport Adidas store to request a second inspection. However, the relevant department again responded negatively. We have been shopping with Adidas for years, and this is the first time we’ve encountered such a problem. As a public employee, I find it difficult to understand why we’re being treated this way. Even getting a response from the relevant team is a struggle. I am dissatisfied with this situation and request that appropriate action be taken. The shoes I sent in for a second inspection are still waiting at the Adidas Viaport store. I expect a more responsive and solution-oriented approach from the relevant department.
