Adidas Passing off On-display Items as Brand New
Adidas.com.tr is selling display products as new products. I don't even know how many times the right shoe of the sneakers I bought has been tried on. The product is visibly deformed. The leather is wrinkled. I spoke with customer service, and they said that the product can be sold in this condition. I requested a clean pair of shoes to be sent, but they said they don't have such a procedure. According to consumer law, such products are normally considered defective and should be sold in outlet stores. I will also report this issue to Adidas headquarters, aside from posting it on Şikayetvar (a complaint platform). I want what's happening here to be known. Unfortunately, Adidas doesn't seem to have ethics here. It's not appropriate. Because they think nothing will happen in Turkey, they act like a global brand! Even Adidas is behaving as they wish. Shame on them.
