On January 16, 2025, I bought a pair of Adidas Gore-Tex shoes, expecting durability and quality. Shockingly, after just one month of normal use, the shoes tore. I sent them in under warranty, and thankfully, Adidas accepted the return. But instead of refunding me, they issued a gift card for the amount on the invoice.

When I asked for a full refund instead, they flat-out refused. Why am I being forced to shop again at a brand I’m clearly unhappy with? The prices have already increased since I made the original purchase—how do you expect me to buy something of equal value now?

I didn’t return the shoes because I changed my mind—I returned them because they were defective. That makes this a failed purchase, and I should be fully refunded, not locked into spending more money with Adidas.

I still haven't received a response. I'm still waiting, prices are skyrocketing, and I'm still wondering what I'll buy from Adidas with the remaining amount. I urgently request a refund of this money. Prices are rising every day, there's nothing decent, I want a refund urgently, please take care of this, I really don't understand how this is service. The shoes I bought were around 4200 TL during the discount period, and after the issue, they converted it to a gift card, which I can't use online, which is another nonsense. The new price of the shoes is now 7000 TL, I wouldn't buy the same ones again anyway, I'm looking at other models, and they're around the same price. I don't want to buy anything from Adidas anymore, honestly, how can I after such service? If they communicated properly and helped, but no, I'm waiting for an urgent response, I'm really tired, my money has evaporated.

The Gore-Tex shoes I bought from Adidas on 16.01.25 became deformed at the front after 1 month of use and were slightly leaking water from the front despite being Gore-Tex. I reported this situation to Adidas and it was deemed appropriate under warranty, meaning it was accepted that the product was defective. They sent the gift card for the amount I paid as an SMS code. When I went to the branch and requested a refund, they said they couldn't do it. They said I could get the same product without considering the price difference, but I can't buy the product I was dissatisfied with again. When I look at other products, I see that prices have risen to around 7000, everything has increased in price since I bought it. I don't understand why I have to shop from a place where I was dissatisfied, I simply don't want to. I don't want to shop again, I demand a refund, I will turn to different brands, this choice is my most natural right. Please contact me as soon as possible.
