Critical Data Loss on ZyXEL NAS540, No Support and Recovery Solutions from ZyXEL

I'm having a major issue with my ZyXEL NAS540 server and can’t get any proper support from ZyXEL customer service. Every time I call, I'm just redirected to articles that don’t help, and there’s no one I can directly speak to for assistance. I urgently need help.

I transferred around 20 folders from my NAS540 to my computer, but the NAS540 also moved all the other folders from the partition into the recycle bin. I regularly empty the recycle bin to free up space, and I never expected this to happen. Now, all of my files from the partition are gone, and the storage shows more space than it should. This isn’t the first issue—my previous volume data was lost before without any useful recovery suggestions from ZyXEL.

I’m extremely frustrated and disappointed. ZyXEL has no preparations for such situations, and the product has proven unreliable. Even if you try to use data recovery software, you have no way of knowing where your files are stored on the volume. I feel abandoned by ZyXEL, and I can no longer trust their storage products. I urgently need a solution to recover my lost data.
