I am experiencing recurring fault codes P217A00 and P218700 on my CFMOTO 700 CLX Heritage motorcycle (VIN: LCEPEWL18R6001365, license plate: 41 BDG 373).

The motorcycle produces these errors randomly, without any clear pattern, and this has become extremely frustrating. The issue has occurred five times so far.

Most recently, I took the motorcycle to an authorized service center in İzmit (F*****). I originally purchased the bike in Kütahya.

At the service center, I was told that the root cause of the issue could not be identified. I was even told, “We will wait until something fails so we can understand what it is.” Each time, they simply cleared the error codes and returned the motorcycle to me.

In other words, the issue is only being temporarily suppressed, and no effort is being made to identify or fix the root cause.

This situation raises serious safety concerns for me, as I fear being stranded on the road and I am also experiencing performance inconsistencies.

Although my motorcycle is only 4 months old and still under warranty, the failure to properly diagnose and permanently resolve this issue is causing significant inconvenience.

My expectation from the brand is that my motorcycle be thoroughly inspected while still under warranty, that the root cause of this recurring fault be clearly identified and permanently fixed, or, if necessary, that the motorcycle be replaced.

I am no longer willing to accept temporary fixes such as simply clearing error codes. I request a professional and permanent solution to this problem.

Hello,

My motorcycle, despite being under warranty, continues to exhibit the same fault repeatedly. The issue has not been resolved despite the work performed previously at your service center.

This situation clearly demonstrates, under Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection, that the product is defective.

Therefore, I am requesting a replacement with a new unit rather than another repair.

Should my request not be fulfilled, I will inform you that I will apply to the Consumer Arbitration Board, providing all service records.

Since I can no longer trust this motorcycle, I am demanding its replacement as a permanent solution. Having experienced the same fault repeatedly and the authorized service's inability to definitively resolve the issue, I request that my demand for replacement be considered to remedy my grievance.

After being called that my car was ready for delivery, I started the engine at the service center and told the technician there was an abnormal noise during operation; they said it could be the new spark plugs. I said okay and took it out, but there were severe RPM losses, it never responded to the throttle. After driving 7 km, the engine dropped to a single cylinder and turned into an electric bike that couldn't exceed 30‑40 km/h in sport mode. I called the technician immediately, brought it back to the service, and they again said they would check the spark plugs. The problem is not being resolved; instead it’s getting worse, causing a huge loss of confidence.

I got it from the service two days ago, and last night I was stranded on the road; the engine dropped to a single cylinder, the fault isn’t being fixed, they keep adding to it and new problems keep popping up constantly.
