Arçelik Took My 9261 Dishwasher for 14 Days and Still Hasn’t Fixed the Problem
We have not been able to escape the issue with our Arçelik 9261 semi-integrated dishwasher's malfunction. It keeps breaking down. Of course, when it malfunctioned again, I contacted Arçelik customer service on 04.09.2024. As of now, it is 21:10, and there is still no news about the dishwasher. The service took it away, saying they couldn't fix it on-site. We've been without a functioning dishwasher for 14 days! I’m beginning to think the machine is being rebuilt. Our machine is still under warranty until July 2025. I suggested a paid replacement, but the service representative said the headquarters wouldn't accept it. Apparently, the cables and motherboard of the machine need to be replaced. What if, when the machine comes back, the cables short circuit while we’re not home, and a fire breaks out? What would Arçelik do then? I am preemptively filing a formal complaint here regarding any potential fire or other incidents. The correct course of action would have been for the company and the service to offer a paid replacement, as it is unacceptable to keep the customer waiting this long. Fourteen days means two weeks. Imagine if your dishwasher, a common household appliance, was taken away for repairs—it's been 14 days so far, with no clear return date—how would you feel? My frustrations with Arçelik are growing daily. I strongly criticize this company, which fails to stand behind its products, and I warn others about Arçelik’s lack of customer satisfaction.
