Yapi Kredi Bank YouTube Premium Campaign Refund Not Given
Yapı Kredi had a campaign defined specifically for me, stating that when payments for YouTube Premium were made with Mastercard-branded cards, a refund of ₺300 would be given. I used the card to purchase a YouTube Premium subscription of around ₺200. However, no refund was made. I called customer service and was told that since I subscribed via my phone, the invoice was issued by Apple, and therefore I did not appear to meet the campaign conditions. However, there is no such requirement stated in the campaign rules. When a similar issue occurs with another bank, they compensate it with reward points in line with their customer satisfaction approach. This seems to be Yapı Kredi’s general attitude instead. Because of this, I closed my credit card, with which I was spending up to ₺220,000 per month. I would really like to know what the purpose of a personalized campaign was. To give me ₺200? I congratulate Yapı Kredi for managing to lose me as a customer through a campaign they supposedly prepared for me!
