YouTube Premium Double Charges Credit Card for Two Years

I have been a YouTube Premium subscriber for a long time, and my payments have been regularly charged to my Yapı Kredi World credit card. However, after recently reviewing my bank transactions in detail, I noticed that each month—usually around the 14th and the 18th—two separate charges are being applied to my card for YouTube Premium.

The amounts are generally $3 + $3, and in some months $3 + $3 (with a slight variation due to exchange or price differences). My subscription is an individual Premium plan used solely by me. Throughout my YouTube Premium membership, all payments have been charged to the same credit card, my Yapı Kredi World card, and there has been no change to my card information.

Since my bank’s mobile application only allows me to view up to one year of transaction history, I cannot fully examine earlier records. However, when I specifically checked the same period one year ago, I again saw duplicate charges for that month. Based on what I can see in my account history, I believe this double-charging issue has been ongoing for approximately two years. I trust that your systems can clearly identify these duplicate charges dating back to the start of my subscription.

Today, I contacted my bank, Yapı Kredi, regarding this issue. They advised me to first contact YouTube/Google directly, and if I am unable to resolve the issue, they would then initiate a retroactive transaction dispute. Therefore, I am requesting that this matter first be reviewed on the YouTube side.

Through my YouTube Premium subscription linked to the account associated with d**[email protected], I request that all historical payments made from the same credit card be reviewed in your system, that all unjust duplicate charges be fully refunded to the same credit card, and that this issue be permanently corrected so that only one subscription fee is charged per month going forward.
