Turkcell YouTube Premıum Charge Refund Complaint

When I switched my Turkcell line to a postpaid plan in September, I was informed via the Turkcell app and SMS that the YouTube Premium service was added to my line free of charge as part of a campaign. Relying on this information, I used the service as if it were free. At no point was I verbally or in writing informed that this service would later become chargeable or that a paid subscription would start. Despite this, an additional fee of approximately 80 TL, outside of my standard package usage, was reflected on my November invoice due to YouTube Premium. As soon as I noticed this, I cancelled the relevant subscription. During my call with Turkcell customer service, no concrete solution was offered and I was only told that this was a “system-related process”, which I find insufficient. Launching a paid subscription without my explicit approval and without proper information conflicts with consumer consent regulations under the Electronic Communications Law and BTK rules. In light of these points, I request that the unjust 80 TL YouTube Premium charge reflected on my November invoice be fully refunded and that the issue be investigated so that such unauthorized and uninformed billing does not recur.
