Yandex Go's Estimate Mismatch

On Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 22:25, I started a taxi ride from Bornova to Karşıyaka using the Yandex Go app. Before confirming the trip, the app showed an estimated fare of ₺287 for my route, and I approved the ride based on that estimate. However, at the end of the journey, the taximeter displayed ₺500, which I had to pay in cash. Although your app states that “the taximeter fare is valid,” the fact that the actual fare was nearly double the estimated amount shows that the system is misleading. This causes customers to begin their rides expecting a lower fare but end up facing an unexpectedly high bill. I reported the issue to Yandex Go customer service, but I only received a general explanation with no solution offered. Experiencing such a problem on my very first use of your service was extremely disappointing. I request that the ₺213 difference I was unfairly charged due to the misleading estimate be refunded to me by Yandex Go. I also expect your estimation system to be fixed to prevent similar issues in the future. Otherwise, I will file a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee.
