Xiaomi Pro2 Mop Not Mopping?

I'm very unhappy with my recent Xiaomi Robot Pro2 Mop purchase. When I select the mopping mode, it appears to have motor noise issues instead of mopping. It's disheartening to spend so much money on a product that doesn't work as it should, especially since I've taken such good care of it - I haven't even added anything other than water, let alone detergent. I used purified water to avoid any damage, but it appears to have a problem already. Are we paying this much for four months of use? I sincerely hope that the company resolves this issue quickly or provides a refund. It's infuriating when a high-tech appliance fails to deliver on its promises, and I'm sure others who've Googled the subject would agree.
