I’m extremely frustrated with the Xbox refund process, which this time has been unacceptably slow and lacking any clear communication. I purchased two games—Mortal Kombat XL and Do₺amine—and requested a refund for both. It’s now been over 7–8 days, maybe more, and I still haven’t seen the refund hit my account.
What’s even more confusing is that I’ve previously gone through Xbox refund requests, and those were handled much faster. This time, however, it feels like I’m being ignored. There’s no update, no email, and no explanation for the delay. Why is there zero transparency in this process?
I trusted the platform to handle refunds fairly and promptly, but this experience has completely shaken that trust. I expect Xbox to resolve this immediately by processing my refund and to provide a clear explanation for this delay. If others are experiencing similar issues, it’s time Microsoft steps up and fixes their refund system.
