Wizz Air Forced Me to Pay Extra to Sit with My Family Despite Empty Seats
I’m incredibly disappointed with Wizz Air’s seating policy. Even though we were all under the same reservation, the airline deliberately assigned us to separate seats. When we asked to sit together, they demanded an extra fee. I find this not only unethical but also a blatant disregard for basic customer service.
There were plenty of empty seats on the flight — I saw them with my own eyes — yet Wizz Air still charged us an outrageous €130 (₺ equivalent) for three seats just so we could sit next to each other. This feels like a premeditated tactic to extract more money from passengers, especially families.
I am requesting a full refund for the seat selection fees and an immediate review of this policy. Forcing passengers apart only to charge them to fix it is not acceptable. Wizz Air, this is not how a customer-centric airline should operate. I expect you to take this seriously and return the money you unfairly charged us.
