Wizz Air Charged 45 Euro Per Person for Not Completing Online Check-In

When we arrived at the airport for our Wizz Air flight from Istanbul Airport to Budapest on December 26, 2025, we were told at the check-in counter that we had to pay a penalty fee of 45 Euro per person because we had not completed online check-in. Since I have never encountered such a practice with any other airline, this situation was both surprising and extremely uncomfortable. In order to be able to board the flight, we were forced to pay the 45 Euro fee. I believe this practice is designed more to penalize passengers and collect extra fees than to properly inform them. Because of this experience, I am seriously reconsidering purchasing tickets from Wizz Air again, both for myself and for people around me. I am requesting that this hardship be reviewed, that the unfair 45 Euro fee I paid be refunded to me, and that the necessary measures be taken to ensure that other passengers do not experience similar situations. My reservation number is 1638317372158363.
