Wise and J.P. Morgan Chase Bank have failed to transfer my salary to my bank account in Türkiye, and this ordeal has been ongoing for one and a half months. I initially attempted to transfer my money from my Wise account to my bank in Türkiye, but I was informed via email that my account approval was incomplete. They requested ₣7,500 for approval, which I sent. Following this, they demanded ₣2,000, then ₣4,500, all of which I also sent. Afterward, they continued to demand additional amounts, including ₣3,500, ₣2,250, ₣5,000, and ₣1,500, bringing the total to ₣27,500 for various account-related fees. Whenever they requested money, they responded to my emails within seconds. However, after making all these payments, I asked for my money to be transferred, and they stopped responding. It took 20–30 emails before they finally replied, only to say that the process had taken too long and they would send a small amount to my account as an apology—which, of course, they did not. I made it clear that I did not want partial amounts but my full balance immediately. This situation has caused significant disruption to my life. I am in the process of relocating for work, but my plans have been delayed due to this issue. I have also been unable to make critical payments. Eventually, my husband’s uncle contacted Wise in Austria, and the bank acknowledged a mistake in their transfer process. They promised to correct it, but the money still did not reach me. After countless attempts to follow up, Wise informed me that they were legally obligated to send my money by November 20, 2024. However, as of today, November 20, the money has still not been transferred. Despite providing everything they requested, including ID photos, my marriage certificate, and account-opening fees totaling ₣27,500, I am still left without my funds. I am filing a formal complaint against Wise and J.P. Morgan Chase Bank. I will also be pursuing legal action through Türkiye to recover my money. I have all the necessary evidence and will be uploading proof to support my case. This situation is unacceptable, and I demand an immediate resolution.

By the way, as I stated, the problem was not related to verifying my account. Since the bank made a mistake, they took thousands of ₣ from me for nothing. After taking all this money from me, they say they fixed the mistake. "WE" FIXED THE MISTAKE. THEY DID NOT KEEP UP ON ANY OF THEIR PROMISES. THEY HAVE VICTIMIZED US FOR 1.5 MONTHS.

Additionally, we asked about name. I have "ı" "ü" letters in my first and last names, we asked "maybe there is problem about name, please could you check it?" They said "we will check this situation and we'll inform you." They still did not answer after this e-mails. So, I do not know anything about situation. Today is over...

They said the money might arrive tomorrow if there is an issue with the letters in my name or surname being misspelled. What I don’t understand is this: why do I have to follow up on something the bank should handle? Why was I forced to pay ₣27,500 because the bank made an error in the transfer? If they are obligated to make the payment by the 20th of November, why haven’t I received my money yet? And why do they avoid answering when I ask about the compensation fee they promised for making me wait and go through all this trouble?

Unfortunately, there has been no progress, and they have not provided a specific time for the transfer. The money was supposed to reach me yesterday. They claimed to have fixed the name error, but they still have not sent my money. Because of their negligence, I have been unable to do anything, and the past 1.5 months have been a nightmare for me. I cannot go anywhere, and I am unable to make my payments. I will never use this app again.

Still nothing. Yesterday they said: "your money will definitely arrive today". They keep stalling. I have no idea where the money is, what happened to it.
