I received scam messages from a +62 WhatsApp number, how can I report and block them effectively?

- To block the number, open the chat on WhatsApp, tap the three dots, and then tap "More." Then tap "Block." Now there is no more touch.

Give the Number: Pick "Report" from the same options. This tells WhatsApp about the number and the most recent chat. WhatsApp could shut down the number if enough people report it.

Scammers often call a number to see if it's working, so don't answer or click on any links. You can become a bigger target if you reply because it proves you're a real person.

Change how privacy is handled: To hide your profile picture, about you, and last seen, go to WhatsApp Settings > Privacy > Profile Picture/About/Last Seen and change them to "My Contacts" or "Nobody."

To use Two-Step Verification, go to Settings > Account > Two-Step Verification and turn it on. With the PIN, no one else will be able to get in.
