WhatsApp Foreign Business Call from +62 831 Made Me Worry About Account Safety
On October 12, 2025, I received a call on WhatsApp from a foreign business account starting with +62 831. I immediately blocked the number and used the “Report” feature within WhatsApp to notify the platform. These types of international calls are very disturbing and have caused me to feel worried about the security of my account information.
After the incident, I contacted WhatsApp Support, but I have not received any response. So far, I haven’t noticed any suspicious activity or unauthorized access to my account. However, if in the future my account details are compromised, my phone number is misused, or any financial liability is created in my name, I will not accept any responsibility. I believe that WhatsApp is fully responsible for protecting user information.
I request that my account security be ensured and that I receive a detailed explanation from WhatsApp regarding this issue. The last three digits of my registered phone number are 318.
