Today, I was blackmailed through WhatsApp by an unknown number using my photos. This person demanded money from me and threatened to send these photos to my family if I refused to pay.
The individual explicitly stated that they would send the photos to my family, attempting to put me under psychological pressure. This situation is a serious violation of my personal rights and my right to privacy.
I have blocked the number on WhatsApp, but I believe this person may harm others using similar methods. I am keeping the phone number and the screenshots of our conversation to submit them to the prosecutor’s office and law enforcement authorities.
I request that WhatsApp thoroughly investigate this number and account, permanently ban it, and take stronger measures against such blackmail attempts on the platform.
