I Report Unauthorized Call On WhatsApp From +62 Number
On 01.07.2025 at 13:19, I received an unsolicited call on WhatsApp from a number starting with the +62 country code. Upon researching, I discovered that this number belongs to Indonesia. I have no personal or business connections with this country. I immediately blocked both the caller and the message.
Despite taking these precautions, I am deeply concerned about the security of my personal data. I fear that my account information, phone number, private messages, or photos might be accessed without my consent. I am particularly worried about the potential for identity theft, such as unauthorized company registrations, unauthorized purchases, or loans taken out in my name.
I hold WhatsApp fully responsible for preventing such unauthorized access and for protecting user privacy. I explicitly request an explanation and enhanced security measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
