On 09/10/2025, I noticed that my WhatsApp account linked to the number 601167773686 displayed a foreign business number. I immediately reported this through the in-app “Report” option and blocked the number. At the moment, I am still able to use my account, but I am very concerned about the possibility of my personal information being misused in the future.
My main worries include:
Unauthorized use of my account information.
My number being shared without my consent.
Potential fraudulent activities such as debts or transactions being created in my name.
I want to clearly state that I will not accept responsibility for any such misuse, and I hold WhatsApp fully accountable should anything happen.
