I Face Spam WhatsApp Messages From UK Number On Redmi Device

Today at around 16:00, I received several unsolicited WhatsApp messages from the UK number +44 7934 666748. The sender claimed to have obtained my phone number from a car listing site and introduced themselves as someone who owns a hot air balloon business in Cappadocia. After doing my own research, I confirmed that this number is indeed registered in the United Kingdom. I have no personal, professional, or commercial connections to the UK, and this type of contact is highly suspicious. Recently, I’ve noticed similar spam messages becoming more common, and it is extremely frustrating.

I use a Redmi Android device with the latest version of WhatsApp installed, and my phone is fully secured with no vulnerabilities. This is not the first time—I've received similar messages before. Each time, I blocked and reported the numbers, and I never replied or shared personal information. Fortunately, I have not yet experienced financial loss, account issues, or data breaches.

I have already reached out to WhatsApp Support regarding this incident. I want to clearly state that if my personal data is being misused, my phone number is being shared without my consent, or any unauthorized activity occurs through my account, WhatsApp will be fully responsible. I am demanding that my account security be reinforced, that such spam messages are prevented in the future, and that a thorough investigation be conducted immediately. I expect an urgent solution to protect my data and stop these unwanted contacts.
