Watsons Unauthorized Returns and Never-Ending Delays

I can't believe what Watsons did to my online order, which was for items that were on sale. They made a return without telling me or asking my permission. When I tried to put the same things in a new basket, the prices suddenly went up. Worse still, no money was put back into my account. They started the return process 18 days ago, and it has been 26 days since I placed the order. The things I needed for the holiday but couldn't get are still in limbo. Even though the holiday is over, my Watsons order hasn't even been sent out yet. The Watsons orders page still says "preparing your order" for the status. I haven't gotten any messages or any other information.
