Volvo XC90 Rear Suspension Failure and Lack of Service Accountability

A year ago, my Volvo XC90 was hit from the rear left side, causing the wheel and rim to bend. I took the car to Akça Volvo Antalya Service, where the rim was repaired, and the hub and a few parts were replaced. I trusted that the vehicle was thoroughly inspected and repaired properly.
Last week, while driving at 40-50 km/h, I heard a strange noise from the rear. Upon inspection at a workshop, I was informed that the tie rod had broken and that damage to the suspension was likely overlooked during the initial repair. When I returned to Akça Volvo, they denied any responsibility, claiming it was unrelated to their prior work.
This raises serious concerns. Was the suspension damage overlooked, or can a critical component of a Volvo simply fail while driving? Either scenario is unacceptable for a brand synonymous with safety.
I’ve purchased three Volvos because safety is my priority. Now, Volvo has offered no support for a repair that could cost ₺50,000-60,000, leaving me without a car for 5-6 weeks and forcing me to rent one. If the tie rod had broken at 140 km/h, the consequences could have been catastrophic. Volvo needs to address this issue immediately and ensure the safety standards they claim to uphold.
