I Found Serious Defects on My Brand New Volkswagen T-Roc

On August 9, 2025, I went to Volkswagen authorised dealer (Doğuş Oto) to pick up a brand-new Volkswagen T-Roc. Without asking me, they had already removed all the protective bags and films from the interior parts, and the car was delivered in the delivery area at the back of the dealership. When I asked why, they mentioned procedures. At the time, I couldn’t notice everything, but after bringing the car to Antalya, issues appeared as early as the second day: the airbag line on the steering wheel became visible, the door handles had stains that wouldn’t come off, there was a stain on the roof lining, the exterior door window seals were covered with marks that wouldn’t go away, and the chrome area on the front console was stained. The steering wheel already showed signs of wear by the second day, and the floor mats had bulges. After identifying these problems, I emailed Doğuş Oto, and they told me to go to the nearest authorized service. At the Alanya Başaran authorized service, they tried wiping the door seals with a damp cloth, but the area they cleaned got worn out—I took photos of everything. They said they cleaned the stain on the dashboard, but it left scratches instead. The service staff also entered the car with greasy shoes, leaving the mats covered in oil. On top of that, they reported to Doğuş Oto that “the stains were cleaned and removed.” The Doğuş Oto brand representative even told me to press the horn from the lower part of the steering wheel, almost as if mocking me. I still haven’t received any response from Doğuş Oto Kartal. The car is only one week old, and I am sharing all the photos, though only eight can be uploaded.
