On June 27, 2025, I paid the full amount and purchased a brand new Volkswagen T-Roc R-Line. When I went to pick up the vehicle on July 2, 2025, I noticed scratches on the lower part of the front left door and between the sunroof and windshield, as well as stains on the upper part of the hood. I stated that I couldn’t accept the vehicle in this condition and requested a flawless replacement. The staff admitted that I was right, said the scratches and stains were minor and had been overlooked, and offered gifts if I accepted the vehicle as-is. However, if I insisted on a replacement, they said I would need to pay the price difference due to a recent price increase. Charging extra for replacing a defective vehicle is unlawful. Additionally, I had seen other vehicles being delivered with all lights turned on, while during my delivery, only one headlight was on, making the area nearly dark. This raised suspicion, especially since I noticed the defects only after requesting the lights be turned on. Had I signed the delivery form without seeing the issues, they clearly wouldn’t have accepted responsibility later. A similar situation was reported by another customer who bought a car from a different Arca branch, where the dealer refused to take responsibility for defects on a 10-day-old vehicle. This has severely damaged my trust in the brand. After contacting Doğuş Otomotiv, the distributor, I was called on July 4 and told that such defects can occur at delivery, that they are operational flaws, and that they could offer minor gifts like window film or wrapping. Still, they repeated that if I wanted a replacement, I would need to pay extra. When I insisted on replacement, they told me to pursue legal action and rejected my request. This has caused hardship for me and my family. We sold our family vehicle on June 28, 2025, the day after receiving the new one, so we also requested a replacement vehicle, which was denied. These companies are making customers bear the cost of pre-delivery defects. I am sharing this with the public to prevent others from experiencing the same, and I once again demand the immediate replacement of my vehicle with a flawless one.
